Ahleuchatistas ist 2003 in Asheville gegründetes Trio, das Mathrock spielt und bis dato (Anfang 2006) drei Alben veröffentlicht Mathrock. Der Name „Ahleuchatistas“ ist eine Kombination aus dem Charlie Parker Stück „Ah-Leu-Cha“ und und der revolutionären „Zappatistas“-Gruppierung in Mexiko.
Die letzte Platte erschien auf John Zorn's Label Tzadik, ein weiterer Beweis dass diese Band etwas besonderes ist!!!!!
„L’asino“ An analogue drum and bass duo in 2006 did the preconditions for this idea of a progressive and beat-heavy .stop.&.go.rock.machine. Machine’s design was completed by a female singer with an attention to soul as well as experimental vocals . Demo was released in February 2008 followed by a Germanytour with Majmoon. The entry of orchestral guitar and the occasional use of samples in 2008 transformed L’asino to a donkey striking out with four legs. All members have kept the darkness of their former and current noise-projects (Fresnel, phal:angst, When Yuppies Go to Hell, Assata,...) and put it into a rockbox full of flutter heart-beats.
